    A:

Yes, we absolutely can accommodate most common food allergies, but you must inform us in advance to ensure our kitchens are properly prepared.

All meals on board are served in a central buffet or as set-menu dinners. Our galleys are not open kitchens where dishes can be made to order on the spot. This is the primary limitation. For standard ships, once you have notified the cruise line (through your travel agent or our reservation team), our hotel manager will meet with you upon boarding. They will review the daily menu with you, point out dishes that are safe, and instruct the kitchen staff to prepare simple, safe alternatives for you, such as plain steamed vegetables, rice, or grilled protein without sauces. However, the variety and creativity of these substitutions will be limited compared to the main offerings. This is a standard procedure on both Century and Victoria's mainstream vessels.

On our premium ships (like Century Paragon or Victoria Sabrina), the process is more robust. The kitchens have better facilities and staff training to handle special dietary requests. With advance notice, the executive chef can often prepare more thoughtful and varied substitute meals that align more closely with the dining experience. The key difference is the level of culinary flexibility and attention to detail. Please understand that while we take allergies very seriously, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment due to shared kitchen spaces.

    > Director's Note: The single most important action you can take is to declare your allergy at the time of booking and then re-confirm it directly with the hotel manager within one hour of boarding. Do not assume the information has been perfectly relayed through all channels.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable journey, please bring any critical medications with you. While our medical facilities can handle basic emergencies, they do not stock specialized allergy medications. During group shore excursions, meals are at local restaurants, which we do not control. It is safest to eat only packaged snacks you have brought or to thoroughly research the restaurant's offerings with your guide's assistance. Communicate clearly with your waitstaff at every meal.

We look forward to welcoming you aboard!
